Joel Ciceron started the match with the kick off. If Stefan Daun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Thomas Geske had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Pero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Daun's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Edelmiro Calvino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Stefan Daun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Pero having to interfere. Laureano Jeraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Peter Sudhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Thomas Geske got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Thomas Geske left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sommerein fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sommerein's Stefan Daun got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulrich Krützfeld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Pero having to make a save. Peter Sudhoff made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Edelmiro Calvino sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Daun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hermengildo Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Sudhoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edelmiro Calvino hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sommerein's Stefan Daun got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Sommerein getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kevin Hagedorn hit a great ball. Carrizal's Joel Ciceron got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Josef Knecht mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sommerein and the Carrizal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laureano Jeraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Peter Sudhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Stefan Daun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Laureano Jeraldo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sommerein's Peter Sudhoff. Peter Sudhoff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 64 minutes, Thomas Geske managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sommerein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Geske was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Daun, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Carrizal's Edelmiro Calvino got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sommerein's zone, Laureano Jeraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Sudhoff came out of the goal and Laureano Jeraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Sommerein's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Jeraldo came free, but Peter Sudhoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Pero stood somewhat misplaced when Stefan Daun came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 79 minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Thomas Geske managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sommerein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Geske was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 played minutes Carrizal got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Calvino. 87 minutes into the match, Sommerein's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Calvino came free, but Peter Sudhoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Sudhoff came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Carrizal's Laureano Jeraldo. But to his dismay, Laureano Jeraldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. When Thomas Geske came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Sommerein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Geske couldn't finish the play. Peter Sudhoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Jeraldo in the 96th minute of the match. Joel Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Sudhoff having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
