Stefan Daun started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ciudacita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Daun came free, but German Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Sommerein's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Maria came free, but Peter Sudhoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Derwin in the 11th minute of play forced Sommerein's goalkeeper Peter Sudhoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Sudhoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Derwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Peter Sudhoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Derwin in the 13th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Sommerein's Ralf Katzer made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Txatxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Ciudacita AFC's Teobaldo Derwin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Sudhoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Derwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Peter Sudhoff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sommerein getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ralf Katzer hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Prudencio Teyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciudacita AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sommerein the free kick. In the 36th minute, Prudencio Teyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Prudencio Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Sudhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Sommerein's Thomas Geske made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Txatxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Antonio Matai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Florian Grond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sommerein's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Grond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When Sommerein's Thomas Geske in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciudacita AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 64 minutes, Ralf Katzer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sommerein and the Ciudacita AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Sommerein got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Katzer. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Stefan Daun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sommerein's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Daun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abelardo Oier struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Peter Sudhoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciudacita AFC. In the 75th minute, one of Ciudacita AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ciudacita AFC. 76 minutes into the game, Sommerein's Thomas Geske nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. German Txatxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Stefan Daun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. German Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Daun in the 87th minute of play. Stefan Daun struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. German Txatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sommerein. When Prudencio Teyo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Prudencio Teyo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Klaudius Ivanschitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sommerein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciudacita AFC the free kick. In the 94th minute, Klaudius Ivanschitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Sommerein supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ciudacita AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ciudacita AFC.
