Carrizal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Jeraldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Joel Ciceron took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julian Lazcano to make any attempt to save it. After 15 minutes, Jairo Guerau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Topadora FC and the Carrizal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Carrizal booed when Topadora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Guerau didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Julian Lazcano managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Carrizal's Laureano Jeraldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hermengildo Pero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriana Guipuzkoa in the 26th minute of the match. When Dionisio Roldanillo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hermengildo Pero was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fabio Tuste kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Topadora FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laureano Jeraldo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Silvio Gomez hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Hermengildo Pero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriana Guipuzkoa went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

If Edelmiro Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Lazcano had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Vicente Olo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fabio Tuste's late challenge caught a Carrizal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Tuste helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Tuste hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Carrizal's Vicente Olo tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Julian Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Laureano Jeraldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Lazcano. Topadora FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Jeraldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Hermengildo Pero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriana Guipuzkoa in the 77th minute. Julian Lazcano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Jeraldo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Laureano Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Joel Ciceron made a precise shot to the right of Julian Lazcano. Topadora FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Carrizal's Hermengildo Pero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Carrizal from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes of play Topadora FC's Fabio Tuste was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Fabio Tuste hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Joel Ciceron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Julian Lazcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Topadora FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carrizal.
