Danilo Geofredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Laureano Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Geofredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Hermengildo Pero made a huge save. 19 minutes into the game, Danilo Geofredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hermengildo Pero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermengildo Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Elivareo in the 22nd minute of play. Rodrigo Chesus hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Joel Ciceron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Bastian. Uspallata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Ciceron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 39th minute, Uspallata's Modesto Ikatz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Laureano Jeraldo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Silvano Bastian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrizal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Modesto Ikatz made the kick off in the second half. When Modesto Ikatz came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Uspallata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Ikatz couldn't finish the play. Victor Medero charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Medero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Uspallata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Medero to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Chesus kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Modesto Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Pero having to interfere. Uspallata's Silvano Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Ciceron in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Carrizal's Laureano Jeraldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Bastian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Ambrosio Gregory hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68thth minute of the game Joel Ciceron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uspallata's Silvano Bastian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andres Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uspallata! Uspallata:s Silvano Bastian showed great skill when he stopped Vicente Olo:s penalty. After some careless play in the Uspallata defense, Vicente Olo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvano Bastian. The Uspallata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Bastian should have stopped the shot. Anibal Bernabel's late challenge caught a Carrizal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Bernabel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carrizal booed when Uspallata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Bernabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Laureano Jeraldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrizal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Ciceron in the 85th minute of play forced Uspallata's goalkeeper Silvano Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Jeraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Silvano Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Jeraldo came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvano Bastian could save by the left post. Joel Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Carrizal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
