After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano's zone, Diego Rosini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Bidun came out of the goal and Diego Rosini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Rosini kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Andrea De Sanctis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barboni United's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea De Sanctis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Bidun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Bemabe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. In the 28th minute of the match, Pascual Feliz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andrea Di Fazio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Barboni United's Andrea Di Fazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Pepillo in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Barboni United's Edoardo Giusti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Bidun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacinto Bemabe charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Bemabe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Bemabe. Pascual Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Andrea Di Fazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonides Geofredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrea Di Fazio. That made the score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 45th minute, Andrea De Sanctis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Geofredo was the one to do the kick off. Andrea Di Fazio came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano's Jacinto Bemabe. But to his dismay, Jacinto Bemabe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. During the 79th minute of the match Jacinto Bemabe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jacinto Bemabe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 79th minute, Jacinto Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Feliz in the 83rd minute of play forced Barboni United's goalkeeper Andrea Di Fazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Belgrano booed when Barboni United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Rosini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciccio Di Fonzo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barboni United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Pennetta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Diego Rosini fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barboni United's protests and gave Diego Rosini a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barboni United's Diego Rosini got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Pascual Feliz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Barboni United's Andrea Di Fazio. Andrea Di Fazio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belgrano had won after a very even match.
