Andrea Di Fazio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Clodoveo Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anfilogino Miranda's late challenge caught a Vagues's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Barboni United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Miranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Silvano Elija sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrea Di Fazio skillfully saved the ball. Andrea Di Fazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrea Di Fazio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Horado's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edoardo Giusti got free with Vicente Dalmai in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute of the match, Amos Pennetta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vicente Dalmai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Vagues's Cecilio Quirze got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Horado in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Di Fazio saved Barboni United from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Diego Rosini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barboni United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vagues the free kick. In the 34th minute of the match Silvano Elija sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrea Di Fazio skillfully saved the ball. Vagues's Cecilio Quirze got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Cecilio Quirze off the ground. The supporters of Barboni United booed when Vagues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Quirze didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Salvador Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Clodoveo Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edoardo Giusti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vicente Dalmai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Vagues's Epifanio Millano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 81 minutes into the game, Epifanio Millano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vagues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barboni United the free kick. A collision led to Vagues getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Epifanio Millano hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Epifanio Millano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Barboni United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vagues's performance. The match ended with a win for Vagues.
