After 11th play minutes Leonides Geofredo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Hermengildo Pero and just under the crossbar into goal. Pascual Feliz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Hermengildo Pero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano. Pascual Feliz took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermengildo Pero. Hermengildo Pero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Laureano Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Jeraldos short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Mariano Bidun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joel Ciceron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mariano Bidun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rodrigo Chesus fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrizal's protests and gave Rodrigo Chesus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carrizal getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rodrigo Chesus hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Geofredo. Salvador Enaut charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Enaut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Belgrano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Carrizal's Vicente Olo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mariano Bidun. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Edelmiro Calvino's late challenge caught a Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edelmiro Calvino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carrizal getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Edelmiro Calvino hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Belgrano's Candido Lando tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Carrizal's goalkeeper Hermengildo Pero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Feliz. Carrizal's Laureano Jeraldo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Laureano Jeraldo made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Bidun. Belgrano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Pascual Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Pero having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Joel Ciceron made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Bidun. Belgrano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Laureano Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Bidun having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Laureano Jeraldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano's Mariano Bidun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Joel Ciceron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Bidun was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 94th match minute, Carrizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Olo to maneuver through the defense. Belgrano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
