The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Panos Panagiotakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theofilos Likouriotis in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Émeric Bretaudeau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malcom Noret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Apostolis Vasiliadis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Herbert Delalandre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Vasiliadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apostolis Vasiliadis came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Whole earth's Adam Baldy. But to his dismay, Adam Baldy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Apostolis Vasiliadis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malcom Noret's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Panos Panagiotakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoine Bottin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Apostolis Vasiliadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcom Noret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Theofilos Likouriotis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Émeric Bretaudeau was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Panos Panagiotakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theofilos Likouriotis was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Whole earth booed when East Warmongers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themis Chatziapostolou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rachid Prudhomme got in the 52nd minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Apostolis Vasiliadis and thus it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, Whole earth's Adam Baldy got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute of the match, Malcom Noret got a very nice opportunity to score, but Apostolis Vasiliadis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Panos Panagiotakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Émeric Bretaudeau. Whole earth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panos Panagiotakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Émeric Bretaudeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Panagiotakos in the 68th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Whole earth got a freekick which was hit by Adam Baldy. If Panos Panagiotakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The East Warmongers fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when East Warmongers's Theofilos Likouriotis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Whole earth's zone, Theofilos Likouriotis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Émeric Bretaudeau came out of the goal and Theofilos Likouriotis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of East Warmongers booed when Whole earth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Baldy didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Panos Panagiotakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Émeric Bretaudeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofilos Likouriotis in the 81st minute of play. The East Warmongers fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when East Warmongers's Theofilos Likouriotis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
