Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Juan Quinteros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edoardo Giusti's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. German Tabor hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Juan Quinteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Di Fonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Freddy Refugio charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Refugio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Freddy Refugio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Freddy Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Barboni United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Di Fonzo to maneuver through the defense. Barboni United's Andrea Di Fazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Refugio in the 22nd minute of play. Diego Biancone kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Arsenio George took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andrea Di Fazio. Barboni United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Gaufred got free with Andrea Di Fazio in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Freddy Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Di Fazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Di Fazio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Lalla in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Luro's Freddy Refugio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrea Di Fazio. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. After 47 minutes of play, Luro's Filomeno Cuartio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrea Di Fazio was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Refugio to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciccio Di Fonzo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Juan Quinteros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barboni United. In the 55th match minute, Luro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Cuartio to maneuver through the defense. Ciccio Di Fonzo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Freddy Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Di Fazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Saverio Lalla made a precise shot to the right of Andrea Di Fazio. Barboni United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 66th match minute, Luro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Lalla to maneuver through the defense. Concetto Bussi's late challenge caught a Luro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concetto Bussi helped the player get up and apologised. Concetto Bussi hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Saverio Lalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edoardo Giusti in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Quinteros saved Luro from getting behind. In the 81st match minute, Luro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Bihar to maneuver through the defense. When Barboni United's Edoardo Giusti in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luro's goalie prevented a goal. Freddy Refugio struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Andrea Di Fazio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luro. Saverio Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Andrea Di Fazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edoardo Giusti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Juan Quinteros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barboni United for a fine match.
