After 33 minutes of play Carrizal's Rodrigo Chesus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 35th minute, Saverio Lalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermengildo Pero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Refugio to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, one of Carrizal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joel Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saverio Lalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Pero having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Freddy Refugio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Pero was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Edelmiro Calvino sped through Luro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Quinteros. Joel Ciceron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
