After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Róbert Augustíny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bajtava FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbert Augustíny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matúš Duda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bajtava FC's Róbert Augustíny got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matej Diamant kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Real Račianska's Matúš Duda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Augustíny in the 30th minute of play. Dávid Pramuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Žufa in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Bajtava FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Pecze came free, but Dávid Pramuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Marek Chrašc put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Bajtava FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marek Chrašc hit a great ball. Martin Kočan didn't quite understand what happened when in the 37 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Dušan Rapčan fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Račianska's protests and gave Dušan Rapčan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Dušan Rapčan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Tandara charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Tandara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, one of Real Račianska:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Račianska. The referee gave Bajtava FC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Štefan Demský, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Račianska's Matúš Duda. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktor Červeň to make the kick off. Štefan Demský kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The long shot by Eduard Žufa in the 54th minute really tested Dávid Pramuk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbert Augustíny during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Bajtava FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Augustíny to maneuver through the defense. Štefan Demský struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Matúš Duda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bajtava FC. If Viktor Červeň had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dávid Pramuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Žufa in the 65th minute of the match. Štefan Demský's late challenge caught a Real Račianska's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Štefan Demský helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 minutes, Michal Chmelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Račianska and the Bajtava FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michal Chmelo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Dávid Pramuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Žufa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
