In the 3rd minute Oscar Pepillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Sudhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belgrano's Oscar Pepillo suffered a sore thigh after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 4 minutes, Ralf Katzer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sommerein and the Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ralf Katzer kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Peter Sudhoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Feliz in the 6th minute of play. Belgrano's Mariano Bidun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Daun in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Sommerein getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Florian Grond hit a great ball. Candido Lando was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mariano Bidun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Daun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Sudhoff stood somewhat misplaced when Leonides Geofredo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. In the 25th match minute, Sommerein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Katzer to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Sommerein's goalkeeper Peter Sudhoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Feliz. If Stefan Daun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Bidun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulrich Krützfeld went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mariano Bidun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Daun, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Sommerein's Stefan Daun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Bidun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Thomas Geske scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Bidun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peter Sudhoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Feliz in the 47th minute. The Belgrano players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sommerein were winning 1-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Daun was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ralf Katzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Pascual Feliz made a precise shot to the right of Peter Sudhoff. Sommerein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Ulrich Krützfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Bidun having to interfere. Mariano Bidun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Daun's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Marc Heimann charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Heimann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Sommerein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Heimann to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Belgrano getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aaron Jakes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Belgrano's Candido Lando got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mariano Bidun made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Thomas Geske sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Sommerein's Stefan Daun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mariano Bidun. That made the score 2-4 after 74 minutes of play. In the 77th minute Stefan Daun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Bidun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrich Krützfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Bidun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulrich Krützfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Jacinto Bemabe made a precise shot to the right of Peter Sudhoff. Sommerein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgrano! Mariano Bidun went to the wrong direction when Thomas Geske was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Erubiel Ieltxu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Pascual Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stefan Daun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Bidun having to make a save.
