Vagues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luro the free kick. Arsenio George was slow to take the kick. During this time Luro's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Dionisio Teodor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Luro's Saverio Lalla got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Eugenio Favila came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Luro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Favila couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Quirze hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Juan Quinteros made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Clodoveo Horado sent off a good shot on target. Clodoveo Horados short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Juan Quinteros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Epifanio Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Juan Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Dalmai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jeronimo Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Saverio Lalla notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vagues's Vicente Dalmai. Vicente Dalmai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Vagues players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luro were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Refugio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Millano in the 63rd minute of the match. Juan Quinteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Horado, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cecilio Quirze kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Arsenio George sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Vicente Dalmai threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Arsenio George this time. German Tabor's late challenge caught a Vagues's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Tabor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vagues booed when Luro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Tabor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Luro's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Millano came free, but Juan Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Luro getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. German Tabor hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Millano in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Quinteros saved Luro from getting behind. If Epifanio Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Filomeno Cuartio fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luro's protests and gave Filomeno Cuartio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Filomeno Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Luro's zone, Epifanio Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Quinteros came out of the goal and Epifanio Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Millano in the 90th minute of play forced Luro's goalkeeper Juan Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Luro's Arsenio George got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Luro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
