The audience thought a goal was coming when Rastislav Chrašc got free with Andrea Di Fazio in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Anfilogino Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barboni United's protests and gave Anfilogino Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Račianska booed when Barboni United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matej Zedník sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edoardo Giusti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matúš Duda having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea De Sanctis in the 47th minute of play forced Real Račianska's goalkeeper Matúš Duda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edoardo Giusti made a kick off. Andrea Di Fazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Žufa in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute Rastislav Chrašc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Di Fazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barboni United's Andrea Di Fazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Tandara in the 58th minute of play. The throw-in from Ciccio Di Fonzo in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Račianska's Ivan Tandara. 64 minutes into the game, Eduard Žufa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Andrea Di Fazio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Real Račianska's Tibor Masný got a free kick in the 74th minute. Matúš Duda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Di Fonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Andrea De Sanctis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barboni United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
