In the 9th minute of the match, Carlos Fernando Albuquerque got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Dracena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carlos Fernando Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Carlos Dracena made a huge save. In the 11th match minute, Guarani MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Martins to maneuver through the defense. Stylus United were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Guarani MZC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ender Kayaer took the corner. A collision led to Guarani MZC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Delfim Martins hit a great ball. Carlos Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Fernando Albuquerque in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Abu Bakar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Dracena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carlos Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abu Bakar in the 21st minute of the match. Guarani MZC's Carlos Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Guarani MZC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guarani MZC's goalkeeper Carlos Dracena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Tālis Cam dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Dracena, 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Guarani MZC's goalkeeper Carlos Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Fernando Albuquerque. Carlos Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abu Bakar in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Guarani MZC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ciro Sabóia hit a great ball. With splendid footwork Carlos Fernando Albuquerque arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 42nd minute. Abu Bakar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Fernando Albuquerque stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Carlos Fernando Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Abu Bakar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stylus United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Carlos Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abu Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Stylus United booed when Guarani MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquín Piquerez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stylus United's İskender Baki Ağcabey was substituted for Ender Kayaer. Stylus United's Baturalp Koçhan was substituted for Hüsamettin Topçam. Joaquín Piquerez kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Gomes in the 72nd minute of play forced Stylus United's goalkeeper Gustaf Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guarani MZC's Carlos Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Albuquerque in the 76th minute of play. Özal Derem kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gustaf Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 80 played minutes Guarani MZC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Veiga. The audience was convinced that Carlos Fernando Albuquerque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Dracena was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Stylus United's Gustaf Holm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Stylus United from getting a goal against them. Carlos Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abu Bakar in the 95th minute of play.
