The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jordan Moses during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grosse Pointe Farms's Jordan Moses got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 14th minute Len Springer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theobald Jordan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, U DEL CACIQUE's Juan Estevan Noria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesse Shepherd's late challenge caught a U DEL CACIQUE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesse Shepherd helped the player get up and apologised. If Luis Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Estevan Noria in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Luis Moreno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benito Lind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, U DEL CACIQUE's Theobald Jordan got control of the ball when Kyle Whitmore tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Raimundo Klickmann came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the U DEL CACIQUE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Klickmann couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd match minute, Grosse Pointe Farms was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Whitmore to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Klickmann scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Lind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Len Springer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanh Rhoades received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Theobald Jordan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kyle Whitmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theobald Jordan having to interfere. When Grosse Pointe Farms's Len Springer in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Serafín Davison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theobald Jordan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Len Springer went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Len Springer in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theobald Jordan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Regino Muñiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U DEL CACIQUE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grosse Pointe Farms the free kick. Regino Muñiz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
