Spectators: 453 (Terracing: 340, Seating: 104, VIP seats: 9) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adrian Curcă started the match with the kick off. In the 10th match minute, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Fragos to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cornel Bălăiță was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C MOISEI-MM-'s players had a chance to rest. In the 26th minute, F.C MOISEI-MM-'s Tudor Bologan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tudor Bologan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C MOISEI-MM- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tudor Bologan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 27th match minute, F.C MOISEI-MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Bologan to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Babbis Tsalouchidis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aron Iuga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermis Vasilomichelakis in the 31st minute of play forced F.C MOISEI-MM-'s goalkeeper Aron Iuga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vintilă Ciulei kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Adrian Curcă scored to the left of an out of position Giorgos Salpiggidis, making the score, 1-1. If Vintilă Ciulei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Α.Ο. Σύρου FC booed when F.C MOISEI-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Braniște didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Babbis Tsalouchidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C MOISEI-MM- the free kick. A collision led to Α.Ο. Σύρου FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Babbis Tsalouchidis hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermis Vasilomichelakis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Stamatis Fragos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C MOISEI-MM- made a substitution. Eusebiu Racoviceanu replaced Toader Lupu. After 57 played minutes Α.Ο. Σύρου FC got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Fragos. F.C MOISEI-MM-'s Aron Iuga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save F.C MOISEI-MM- from getting a goal against them. Aron Iuga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paschalis Valassis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Vintilă Ciulei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Giorgos Salpiggidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd match minute, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manos Valkanis to maneuver through the defense. Paschalis Valassis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Aron Iuga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, F.C MOISEI-MM-'s goalkeeper Aron Iuga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermis Vasilomichelakis. After 77 minutes, Vintilă Ciulei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C MOISEI-MM- and the Α.Ο. Σύρου FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Α.Ο. Σύρου FC booed when F.C MOISEI-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Ciulei didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stamatis Fragos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Ionuț Bourceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Aris Lakerdas got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Gheorghe Racoviță hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Babbis Tsalouchidis scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Aron Iuga who was too lazy, 2-2.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. F.C MOISEI-MM-'s Adrian Curcă started the play with the initial kick off. After a rather tough play, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Stamatis Fragos got a free kick in the 102nd minute. Cornel Bălăiță took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 103rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giorgos Salpiggidis. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adrian Curcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 106th minute. Giorgos Salpiggidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 108th minute Adrian Curcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Salpiggidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Iuga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manos Valkanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 112th minute. Aron Iuga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Valkanis in the 116th minute of play. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.
