The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Oskar Nyström sped through Cere's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Codrin Vrabie. Oskar Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Codrin Vrabie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Krister Jonasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codrin Vrabie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The Malmö FF fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Malmö FF's Oskar Nyström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Laurențiu Unchiaşu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th play minute Oskar Nyström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Codrin Vrabie. 4-0. 18 minutes into the game, Krister Jonasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malmö FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cere the free kick. Krister Jonasson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Oskar Nyström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Vrabie was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When Lucrețiu Blejan fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cere's protests and gave Lucrețiu Blejan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cere's Lucrețiu Blejan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Östen Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codrin Vrabie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krister Jonasson in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Oskar Nyström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Codrin Vrabie, passed just outside the right post. Cere's Codrin Vrabie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Nyström in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Malmö FF's Oskar Nyström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Codrin Vrabie. That made the score 5-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oskar Nyström was the one to do the kick off. If Oskar Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Adam Olofsson fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malmö FF's protests and gave Adam Olofsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Oskar Nyström made a precise shot to the right of Codrin Vrabie. Cere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Östen Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Codrin Vrabie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmö FF. In the 95th match minute, Malmö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Nyström to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th match minute, Cere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Bacanu to maneuver through the defense.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Malmö FF had played much better football throughout.
