The wind increased when Rolando Tino made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Elverk Vogum's Daríus Sigmundarson got control of the ball when Astor Dimo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodoro Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörvi Daðason, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico ECCA's zone, Þorgarður Arnljótsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Lesardo lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 64th minute, one of Atletico ECCA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico ECCA. Atletico ECCA:s Teodoro Reyes showed great skill when he stopped Þorgarður Arnljótsson:s penalty. A collision led to Atletico ECCA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lisandro Ciano hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Rolando Tino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico ECCA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elverk Vogum the free kick. Rolando Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Teodoro Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geir Mánason in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Atletico ECCA booed when Elverk Vogum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davíð Sölvason didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörvi Daðason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes, Þorgarður Arnljótsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elverk Vogum and the Atletico ECCA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Elverk Vogum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Þorgarður Arnljótsson to maneuver through the defense. Daríus Sigmundarson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolando Tino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 79 minute of play. The Atletico ECCA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atletico ECCA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
