The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Gertsyk got free with Polikarp Miheev in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Russia's Polikarp Miheev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Russia from getting a goal against them. Anton Gertsyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polikarp Miheev having to interfere. Anton Gertsyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Kazimierz Merski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Leonid Bubnov with Arkadiy Amfiteatrov as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 93rd minute, Grigoriy Melnichenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Barcelona Lassa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Barcelona Lassa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
