An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrer Acha in the 4th minute of play forced FC Bemowo's goalkeeper Dariusz Bielejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Bemowo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eitautas Ivoška was slow to take the kick. During this time Geležinis Vilkas's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Léo de Azevedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Bemowo's Dariusz Bielejewski did a great save. After 7 played minutes FC Bemowo got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Kasprzak. Arne Rusterholz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ong Bongo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes in the game Orhan Seyfi Bozyiğit did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ong Bongo. In the 21st minute Ong Bongo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Rusterholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arévalo Miñaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Ong Bongo came free, but Arne Rusterholz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geležinis Vilkas's Arne Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ong Bongo in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Arévalo Miñaca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dariusz Bielejewski. Ong Bongo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Rusterholz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Geležinis Vilkas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ong Bongo made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Geležinis Vilkas's Dariusz Bielejewski threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arévalo Miñaca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dariusz Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arévalo Miñaca in the 70th minute of play. FC Bemowo made a substitution. Slawomir Przybyciel replaced Szczepan Kasprzak.
