When Ye Yi Yi came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ye Yi Yi couldn't finish the play. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Julian Drebit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriol Loyola in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Feng Zhen came free, but Julian Drebit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. You Qi Zhou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Drebit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute Pepillo Servin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Drebit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Jeremy Lambarida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Drebit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepillo Servin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Oriol Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Drebit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Pepillo Servin put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julian Drebit.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pepillo Servin made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Lauro da Rocha threw the ball into play from the sideline. Leones FC's You Qi Zhou quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Yi Yi in the 53rd minute of play. The CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Samuca Campidelis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Mathias Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Mathias Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Villamarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Drebit came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Leones FC's Pepillo Servin. But to his dismay, Pepillo Servin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 71st match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepillo Servin to maneuver through the defense. Oriol Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Julian Drebit made a huge save. If Oriol Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Breckenfeld in the 83rd minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Villamarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leones FC's attentive Oriol Loyola managed to snatch the ball when Naum Fode made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Pepillo Servin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julian Drebit. That made the score 2-4 in the 89 minute of play. Frances Muelas's late challenge caught a CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frances Muelas helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Frances Muelas.
