SPALLETTE RETURNS's Marco Silvestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Villa in the 19th minute of play. Fructuoso Acedo hit a great ball. Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vygandas Jančiauskas in the 29th minute of play. Marco Silvestri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 44 played minutes SPALLETTE RETURNS got a freekick which was hit by Davide Guerrini. In the 47th minute, Augusto Bevilacqua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Villa to make the kick off. Marco Silvestri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Augusto Bevilacqua was slow to take the kick. During this time SPALLETTE RETURNS's players had a chance to rest. After 57 played minutes Capo de Provincia got a freekick which was hit by Juan Riquelme. Capo de Provincia's Carlo Valdivieso was substituted for César Pretot. Capo de Provincia made a substitution. Próspero Imaz replaced Fructuoso Acedo. SPALLETTE RETURNS made a substitution. Adriano Biagetti replaced Davide Guerrini. If Vygandas Jančiauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Capo de Provincia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
