The audience was convinced that Juan Luis Dittborn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikolaj Dylla was relentless in the 2nd minute of the game. Inter de Chillán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Luis Dittborn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th match minute, 1. FC Krotoszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tytus Zawacki to maneuver through the defense. Mikolaj Dylla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Meazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mikolaj Dylla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Steve Vaid showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 26 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Luis Dittborn got free with Mikolaj Dylla in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogerio Berecedo in the 32nd minute of play forced 1. FC Krotoszyn's goalkeeper Mikolaj Dylla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe Meazza's late challenge caught a 1. FC Krotoszyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Meazza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Giuseppe Meazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, 1. FC Krotoszyn's Mikolaj Dylla got control of the ball when Juan Luis Dittborn tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Mikolaj Dylla managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Inter de Chillán's Juan Luis Dittborn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilbert Burdalski made a kick off. Gilbert Burdalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Ignacio Rocha having to interfere. Steve Vaid took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikolaj Dylla. Mikolaj Dylla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When Tadeusz Mnich came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the 1. FC Krotoszyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeusz Mnich couldn't finish the play. Mikolaj Dylla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Luis Dittborn in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Juan Luis Dittborn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikolaj Dylla was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Jorge Valdivia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Rogerio Berecedo notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of 1. FC Krotoszyn's Mikolaj Dylla. Mikolaj Dylla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1. FC Krotoszyn's Mikolaj Dylla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Valdivia in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Javier Casas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikolaj Dylla. 1. FC Krotoszyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Javier Casas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 88th minute, Steve Vaid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Chillán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Mikolaj Dylla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javier Casas went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inter de Chillán fans cheered their team off the field, for while 1. FC Krotoszyn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
