The audience was convinced that Juan Luis Dittborn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Hurmuzache was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 84 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Francisco Lacunza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Hurmuzache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ryszard Borcz kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Luis Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Basarab Zburliş got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 95th minute, Lucrețiu Nicodim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Luis Alfaro in the 96th minute of the match.
