The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mikolaj Dylla came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's Leonard Demian. But to his dismay, Leonard Demian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Artur Dobrowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Jupân having to interfere. Mikolaj Dylla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ryszard Borcz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Gilbert Burdalski's late challenge caught a DINAMO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilbert Burdalski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of DINAMO booed when 1. FC Krotoszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Burdalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Nicodim in the 17th minute of play forced 1. FC Krotoszyn's goalkeeper Mikolaj Dylla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ryszard Borcz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikolaj Dylla. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. Dorin Agârbiceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorin Agârbiceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 1. FC Krotoszyn booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Agârbiceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugen Jupân stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Dobrowski's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by DINAMO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilbert Burdalski was slow to take the kick. During this time 1. FC Krotoszyn's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dorin Agârbiceanu hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Artur Dobrowski notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of DINAMO's Eugen Jupân. Eugen Jupân was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ryszard Borcz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Mikolaj Dylla made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Ryszard Borcz took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Mikolaj Dylla to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Călin Feroiu was the one to do the kick off. Mikolaj Dylla came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's Lucrețiu Nicodim. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Nicodim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 58 minutes into the game, Ryszard Borcz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Mikolaj Dylla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mikolaj Dylla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Zburliş, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of DINAMO booed when 1. FC Krotoszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Mnich didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Dobrowski got free with Eugen Jupân in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilbert Burdalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eugen Jupân tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Călin Feroiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the 1. FC Krotoszyn defense, Ryszard Borcz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikolaj Dylla. The 1. FC Krotoszyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikolaj Dylla should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, DINAMO's Eugen Jupân got control of the ball when Artur Dobrowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ryszard Borcz hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Eugen Ichimescu notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of 1. FC Krotoszyn's Mikolaj Dylla. Mikolaj Dylla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the game, 1. FC Krotoszyn's Artur Dobrowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugen Jupân made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. Eugen Jupân made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Artur Dobrowski sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Gilbert Burdalski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugen Jupân, 8-3. 1. FC Krotoszyn's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because DINAMO had won, even though 1. FC Krotoszyn had held more of the ball.
