The referee showed Paulino Juvenal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darwin Nuñez in the 11th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper John Locke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when COSQUIN SFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxi Meza didn't get a good kick on the ball. COSQUIN SFC's Gregorio Diagur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 15th minute of play. John Locke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Borja in the 17th minute of play. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Diagur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Froilan Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Jatsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Diagur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was a well-played corner which Raimundo Domiku managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

A sloppy throw-in by Paulino Juvenal in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SAN LORENZO FC's Raimundo Domiku. In the 55th minute Ciriaco Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gregorio Diagur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN LORENZO FC. COSQUIN SFC's Gregorio Diagur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 64th minute of play. Ciriaco Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gregorio Diagur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN LORENZO FC. SAN LORENZO FC's Ruperto Erlantz was substituted for Justino Quinito. After 74 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Jatsu. In the 76th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Jatsu to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that SAN LORENZO FC were the better team. SAN LORENZO FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
