Domingos Savier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Northern California's Domingos Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 10th minute of play. Eugen Jupân showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Northern California's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sergio Heriberto in the 13th minute. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eugen Ichimescu hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Sergio Heriberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugen Jupân skillfully saved the ball. In the 17th minute Gustavo Isazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Jupân saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Feroiu came free, but Domingos Savier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Basarab Zburliş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Isazi in the 25th minute of play. Eugen Jupân made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi in the 28th minute of play. Domingos Savier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Gustavo Isazi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugen Jupân, 1-1. Gustavo Isazi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugen Jupân came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustavo Isazi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. Domingos Savier came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's Lucrețiu Nicodim. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Nicodim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ryszard Borcz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The Northern California fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Northern California's Gustavo Isazi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Isazi in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.
The wind increased when Gustavo Isazi made the kick off in the second half. Domingos Savier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Călin Feroiu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 51 minute of play. Eugen Ichimescu's late challenge caught a Northern California's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Ichimescu helped the player get up and apologised. Eugen Ichimescu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Isazi in the 56th minute of play. Eugen Jupân showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Isazi in the 58th minute of the match. Northern California's Gustavo Isazi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Sergio Heriberto put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eugen Jupân. Eugen Jupân didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Isazi went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Gustavo Isazi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugen Jupân. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugen Jupân should have stopped the shot. Sergio Heriberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugen Jupân having to make a save. Eugen Jupân took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Isazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Northern California booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Ichimescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basarab Zburliş got free with Domingos Savier in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Bernaldo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugen Jupân showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Heriberto in the 93rd minute of the match. Northern California were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DINAMO for a fine match.
