Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nico Fanta kicked off to start the match. After 7 minutes, Steve Vaid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter de Chillán and the Momentum FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Parker Nuñez took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Ignacio Rocha. José Ignacio Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Parker Nuñez in the 15th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper José Ignacio Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Parker Nuñez made a precise shot to the right of José Ignacio Rocha. Inter de Chillán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. José Ignacio Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Parker Nuñez in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Parker Nuñez came free, but José Ignacio Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Ignacio Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parker Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jose Manuel Aguiar hit a great ball. Fabian Benvido came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Chillán's Giuseppe Meazza. But to his dismay, Giuseppe Meazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter de Chillán's Juan Luis Dittborn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabian Benvido. That made the score 2-2 after 33 minutes of play. In the 39th minute, Arni Urb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Ignacio Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Nico Fanta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute Parker Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Ignacio Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Luis Dittborn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Parker Nuñez struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. José Ignacio Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Momentum FC. Parker Nuñez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Ignacio Rocha having to make a save. In the 54th minute Parker Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Ignacio Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Marcel Wassermayer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Chillán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Momentum FC the free kick. In the 56th minute, one of Inter de Chillán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inter de Chillán. The goalkeeper, José Ignacio Rocha, was totally fooled by Momentum FC's Anier Rocendo, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 60th minute Steve Vaid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's Parker Nuñez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Ignacio Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Ignacio Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Parker Nuñez in the 68th minute of play. Momentum FC's Agustin Figueroa was substituted for Elvio Gasteiz. Inter de Chillán made a substitution. Juan Luis Alfaro replaced Juan Luis Dittborn. Inter de Chillán made a substitution. Francisco Lacunza replaced Giuseppe Meazza. In the 70th minute, Lothar Matthæus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Parker Nuñez got free with José Ignacio Rocha in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 74 minutes Inter de Chillán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rando Raudsoo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Momentum FC's corner Nico Fanta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Ignacio Rocha quite easily take care of the ball. Nico Fanta in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Ignacio Rocha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lothar Matthæus made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Momentum FC's Gustavo Schelokov. Inter de Chillán's José Ignacio Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Chillán from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Inter de Chillán defense, Rando Raudsoo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Ignacio Rocha. The Inter de Chillán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Ignacio Rocha should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Rando Raudsoo took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for José Ignacio Rocha to make any attempt to save it. Momentum FC played a much better game than Inter de Chillán and deserved their victory. The Inter de Chillán players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
