A well-hit corner resulted in Jonathan Bernaldo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 18 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Lehior came free, but Santos Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Lehior in the 20th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Oflador FC 2003's Felix Lehior made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Frascuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Luciano Goizeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northern California's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oflador FC 2003 the free kick. In the 36th minute, Luciano Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felix Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos Mino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Lehior, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Felix Lehior ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Mino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victoriano Cruz made a kick off. Gong Xiao's late challenge caught a Oflador FC 2003's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gong Xiao helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Gong Xiao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Lehior's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Mino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Godfredo Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Oflador FC 2003 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Lehior to maneuver through the defense.
