The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pipis Karapatakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Angelo Velasco made a huge save. Jardel Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Souza in the 7th minute of the match. Pipis Karapatakis spun around in front of the goal 10 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Futbol Club RRFV's goal. When Pipis Karapatakis came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Grêmio FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pipis Karapatakis couldn't finish the play. Luiz Guilherme Sena made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by 洪延广. After 16 played minutes Pipis Karapatakis rounded Futbol Club RRFV's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club RRFV's zone, Pipis Karapatakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Velasco came out of the goal and Pipis Karapatakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Grêmio FBPA were awarded a corner. Darío Pereyra went to the cornerflag to take it. When Pipis Karapatakis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Grêmio FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pipis Karapatakis couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Hustaz Gorostarzu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio FBPA the free kick. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hustaz Gorostarzu hit a great ball. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Souza in the 37th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pipis Karapatakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelo Velasco. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bubunauri G. Hansen hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game Darío Pereyra kicked a great long shot which passed Angelo Velasco straight ahead into the goal, Result 3-0. One couldn't see Darío Pereyra behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Pipis Karapatakis made the kick off in the second half. Ted Hoogenkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Velasco having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Souza. In the 57th minute, Pipis Karapatakis made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Velasco. Futbol Club RRFV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 59th minute Pipis Karapatakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Grêmio FBPA's Alberto Estevon to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Velasco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club RRFV's Luiz Guilherme Sena got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute Pipis Karapatakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Futbol Club RRFV defense, Pipis Karapatakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Velasco. The Futbol Club RRFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Velasco should have stopped the shot. Angelo Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipis Karapatakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Pipis Karapatakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pipis Karapatakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pipis Karapatakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Angelo Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pipis Karapatakis went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 93rd match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hustaz Gorostarzu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Ted Hoogenkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Grêmio FBPA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
