Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Hansson in the 3rd minute of play. Sundborn IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Olof Stephansson in the 4th minute. The corner led to Sundborn IF's Börje Ekström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Hansson in the 7th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven-Olof Stephansson who took care of the corner kick. Kalle Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Nevada in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th minute Ted Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalle Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Kalle Askberg managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Nevada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th minute of the match, Alfonso Goicoechea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kalle Askberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eustaquio Jaizki hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ted Holmgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Glogowski was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 41 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Pitta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 42nd minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Holmgren in the 46th minute of play. Erland Kvist's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erland Kvist helped the player get up and apologised. Erland Kvist kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Hansson made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Erroman. Pankracy Glogowski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 51st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sven-Olof Stephansson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 52nd minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalle Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Chwalkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Kalle Askberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Holmgren struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundborn IF. Alf Hanssons short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Pankracy Glogowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Alf Hansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Glogowski should have stopped the shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu was substituted for Remigio Erramu. Sundborn IF's Kristoffer Wallin was substituted for Du Le Wen. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Kaloyan Mitashev got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaloyan Mitashev got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erland Kvist in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. After 83 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Abreu. After 86 played minutes, Club Atlético Atlanta's Ciro Ferdinand shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kalle Askberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Atlanta reached it. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Paolo Caradaro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 90th minute of play. Ted Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
