The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Lenertej during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Grêmio FBPA made a substitution. Ted Hoogenkamp replaced Filiph Biörling. In the 3rd match minute, Kosynierzy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Lenertej to maneuver through the defense. Pipis Karapatakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Zachariasz Osikowicz made a huge save. Pipis Karapatakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jardel Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Jucha, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Kosynierzy FC's Emil Lenertej sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jardel Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pipis Karapatakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachariasz Osikowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Pipis Karapatakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zachariasz Osikowicz having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pipis Karapatakis got free with Zachariasz Osikowicz in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zachariasz Osikowicz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pipis Karapatakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Lenertej in the 27th minute of play. In the 36th minute Aleksander Pruss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Grêmio FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Cabral.

After some careless play in the Kosynierzy FC defense, Ted Hoogenkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Osikowicz. The Kosynierzy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Osikowicz should have stopped the shot. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Lenertej in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Kosynierzy FC got a corner. Grêmio FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrzej Domaracki ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Kosynierzy FC's corner Andrzej Domaracki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jardel Sanches quite easily take care of the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Andrzej Domaracki led 57 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-1. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kosynierzy FC's goalkeeper Zachariasz Osikowicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Pipis Karapatakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio FBPA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 67 minutes into the match, Pipis Karapatakis notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Kosynierzy FC's Zachariasz Osikowicz. Zachariasz Osikowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 71st minute of play forced Kosynierzy FC's goalkeeper Zachariasz Osikowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pipis Karapatakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zachariasz Osikowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Emil Lenertej fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Sanches having to interfere. Zachariasz Osikowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipis Karapatakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grêmio FBPA's Nestor Leão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Sokolski in the 83 minute of the game. Pipis Karapatakis took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zachariasz Osikowicz. Zachariasz Osikowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Kosynierzy FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
