Ken Warner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the game, Hugh Pope cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sanjiv Yorke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ralph Doom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ken Warner made a huge save. In the 27th minute Winifred Alleyne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Warner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralph Doom got free with Ken Warner in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Ralph Doom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ken Warner. That made the score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winifred Alleyne in the 32nd minute of play forced Jordan's goalkeeper Ken Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugh Pope in the 44th minute of play forced Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper Sanjiv Yorke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jordan's Christopher Lofthouse got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Ralph Doom came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Trinidad & Tobago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Doom couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Ralph Doom made the kick off in the second half. Ken Warner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Winifred Alleyne went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ken Warner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Jordan's goal looked a bit too open when Winifred Alleyne came free, but Ken Warner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Ramjohn in the 60th minute of play forced Jordan's goalkeeper Ken Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordan's Ken Warner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winifred Alleyne in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Ralph Doom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Warner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 70 in the game by Joseph Spurgeon from a close distance when the talented Sanjiv Yorke managed to make a qualified save. Trinidad & Tobago's players were relieved. Winifred Alleyne kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Jordan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Farrow to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Jordan's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Ramjohn came free, but Ken Warner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ken Warner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shurwayne Bradley, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Hugh Pope kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jordan's Ken Warner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Doom in the 92nd minute of play. There was no doubt that Trinidad & Tobago were the better team. Trinidad & Tobago's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
