Jairo Castellano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Mehat Kovaçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Castellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Castellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Nesto in the 28th minute of the match. When Gerardo Nesto came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cougars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Nesto couldn't finish the play. Jairo Castellano made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mehat Kovaçi sent off a good shot on target. Jairo Castellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Nesto in the 40th minute of the match. When Cougars FC's Gerardo Nesto, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cougars FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrico Del Bosque in the 45th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurgain Lama came free, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehat Kovaçi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jairo Castellano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curcio Carballeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a huge save. Arnoud de Pelsmakere was a little too slow when Laurgain Lama got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 3-1. Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 64th minute of play. The Cougars FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. The audience was convinced that Rafael Navarro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Handi Vidales's late challenge caught a Cougars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Handi Vidales helped the player get up and apologised.
