After a defensive mix-up in Borgo Doria F.C.'s zone, Miguel Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Spitaleri came out of the goal and Miguel Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Miguel Godoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Auriolam II C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 44 played minutes Auriolam II C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Godoy. After the first half Auriolam II C.F. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alberto Scutti made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Scutti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cayetano Pagomari hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Borgo Doria F.C. were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Auriolam II C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabio Bottone took the corner. Alberto Scutti made a great header on Borgo Doria F.C.'s corner, it was just that Auriolam II C.F.'s Rubén Urruti managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Borgo Doria F.C. booed when Auriolam II C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelayo Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corrado Spitaleri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Godoy in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Auriolam II C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Godoy to maneuver through the defense. The Borgo Doria F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Auriolam II C.F.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Auriolam II C.F..
