David Ospina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frisco Arroyo in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Sabaneta FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fernandez Cueva hit a great ball. The Atlético Bucaramanga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 43rd minute, one of Sabaneta FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sabaneta FC. Atlético Bucaramanga made a substitution. Weterio Caceo replaced Lugo Saavedra. The Sabaneta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Quintero to strike the kick off in the second half. If Eneko Oyaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandez Cueva. Silban Bonifaz scored 0-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Estebanez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute Diego Angulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ospina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Bucaramanga's Sergio Quintero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Estebanez. That made the score 0-4 after 79 minutes of play. Felipe Senzano kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Diego Angulo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee ignored Sabaneta FC's protests and gave Felipe Senzano a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Senzano. 99 minutes into the game, Diego Angulo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabaneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Bucaramanga the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sabaneta FC's Diego Angulo got a free kick in the 99th minute.

The Sabaneta FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atlético Bucaramanga's performance. The match ended with a win for Atlético Bucaramanga.
