After taking down the ball on MANIACOS's corner Xever Ludueña fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Denis Calvino quite easily take care of the ball. Atlético Villa Gesell's attentive Paolo Aguirre managed to snatch the ball when Elvis Arce made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Josu Agra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dario Bingen fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Villa Gesell's protests and gave Dario Bingen a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Bingen kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Josu Agra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cornelio Ixidor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. In the 25th match minute, MANIACOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 范竞广 to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Villa Gesell's Eriberto Aztore got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Bingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Josu Agra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xever Ludueña kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Colon Averasturi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Calvino was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 40th match minute, MANIACOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Chamorro to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Colon Averasturi to strike the kick off in the second half. If Hipolito Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlético Villa Gesell's Denis Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roderigo Fontanez in the 68th minute of play. Atlético Villa Gesell made a substitution. Laureano Efraim replaced Eriberto Aztore. Atlético Villa Gesell's Paulo Rudolfo was substituted for Dario Bingen. Xever Ludueña made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlético Villa Gesell's Paulo Rudolfo. 86 minutes into the match, Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Denis Calvino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roderigo Fontanez. Roderigo Fontanez in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Denis Calvino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Sal during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute of the match MANIACOS got a corner. Atlético Villa Gesell's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roderigo Fontanez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Roderigo Fontanez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético Villa Gesell's Denis Calvino did a great save. The MANIACOS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Atlético Villa Gesell from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
