In the 15th minute of the match NFC Eagles 22 got a corner. Frontera AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niels-Jan Reiling ran over to the corner to take the kick. Niels-Jan Reiling made a great header on NFC Eagles 22's corner, it was just that Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 35th minute, Frontera AFC's Rodrigo Palacio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciccio Tacconi. Ciccio Tacconi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 39th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raymond Schouten kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. NFC Eagles 22's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Naohiro Takahara scored to the left of an out of position Ciccio Tacconi, making the score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Palacio came free, but Ciccio Tacconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Frontera AFC's corner Naohiro Takahara fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciccio Tacconi quite easily take care of the ball. Silvestre Cisco scored 4-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciccio Tacconi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciccio Tacconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naohiro Takahara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciccio Tacconi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naohiro Takahara, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. NFC Eagles 22 made a substitution. Emil Houwing replaced Laurens Knol. If 盛世 高文竞 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Luca Langoni hit a great ball. NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naohiro Takahara in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Varela to maneuver through the defense. Luis Advíncula made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alan Varela. NFC Eagles 22's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
