Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Mesías in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Sabri Kutberk took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Generoso Beloki to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Vodka Stars 1949's Chico Viejo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Lionel Mesías hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Generoso Beloki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Mesías, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Lionel Mesías shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gebrüdersdorfer SV getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Hans Hagen hit a great ball. Stanislaw Tyszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Batalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Generoso Beloki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel Mesías, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Vodka Stars 1949 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
