An unexpectedly hard shot by Ponciano Abarca in the 3rd minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Hård in the 6th minute of play. spikarna's Lars Norberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save spikarna from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the game, Ponciano Abarca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lars Norberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponciano Abarca in the 13th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Atakan Pepe came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lars Norberg. Lars Norberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Atakan Pepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponciano Abarca in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Hård came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Witomir Ziomkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Funes to strike the kick off in the second half. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save River CBBA from getting a goal against them. Kaj Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Barovero having to interfere. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Hård in the 60th minute of the match. Kaj Hård could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. In the 65th minute Argoitz Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Modesto Ado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Kaj Hård got a free kick in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Juan Funes put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lars Norberg. River CBBA's Costante Abendano was substituted for Hector Enrique. River CBBA's Simon Gustafson was substituted for Varis Birgelis. 86 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Funes came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. River CBBA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
