When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Omar Jakue took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Loïc Payen to make any attempt to save it. Loïc Payen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pastor Abel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Lëtzebuerg's Marouane Rocchi got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 31st minute, Pastor Abel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loïc Payen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serdar Gulson in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Basajaun saved CeciForEver from getting behind. Loïc Payen made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Pastor Abel sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serdar Gulson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Abraham Pflaumenbaum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
