After 17 minutes of play, Club Sports Pergamino's Zheng Jian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Mercurio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herminio Seguinus kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Zheng Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Froilan Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lia Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Héctor-Horacio Scotta came free, but Freddy Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes Crottos Crotters F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Seguinus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Breckenfeld in the 38th minute of play forced Club Sports Pergamino's goalkeeper Lia Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zheng Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Club Sports Pergamino's corner Humberto Garci fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Freddy Mercurio quite easily take care of the ball. When Zheng Jian came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Club Sports Pergamino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zheng Jian couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Club Sports Pergamino made a substitution. Antonin Leroyer replaced Ramiro Oroitz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peng Xiong to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zheng Jian got free with Freddy Mercurio in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute of the match, Zheng Jian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Freddy Mercurio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner ended in Humberto Garci almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Freddy Mercurio did a great save. After a rather tough play, Club Sports Pergamino's Victoriano Izotz got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 67 minutes, Baldomero Mateo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crottos Crotters F.C. and the Club Sports Pergamino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Benigno Elija was substituted for Adilson Breckenfeld. Crottos Crotters F.C. made a substitution. Gerardo Gartzea replaced Wieslaw Zarobski. Freddy Mercurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zheng Jian in the 77th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Sports Pergamino walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
