In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Angola's goalkeeper Freddy Sein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Sporting Angola were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

CAM Football Club were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Sporting Angola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernabe Llorienzo took the corner. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
