Ademar Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Moneer Zayed made a huge save. Moneer Zayed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Benavente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes RED STAR FC. got a freekick which was hit by Xu Xi Peng. Moneer Zayed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Benavente in the 13th minute of play. Moneer Zayed made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ademar Damião sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, Ademar Damião cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Moneer Zayed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ademar Damião came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Moneer Zayed could save by the left post. RUBIN UNITED FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after RED STAR FC.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uthman Khalif took the corner. Ademar Damião was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. RED STAR FC.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 26 minutes into the match, RUBIN UNITED FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Benavente came free, but Moneer Zayed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moneer Zayed made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ademar Damião sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, RED STAR FC.'s Gonzalo Benavente dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Fidencio Frera's late challenge caught a RUBIN UNITED FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidencio Frera helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, RED STAR FC.'s Fidencio Frera got a free kick in the 38th minute. RED STAR FC.'s Tomasz Galus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sobhi Abdul Jalil in the 40th minute of play. RUBIN UNITED FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after RED STAR FC.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uthman Khalif took the corner. After taking down the ball on RUBIN UNITED FC's corner Uthman Khalif fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomasz Galus quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Benavente was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gabriel Eguntsenti managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED STAR FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Eguntsenti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moneer Zayed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Benavente took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moneer Zayed. Moneer Zayed dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. If Ibrahim Maymun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Gonzalo Benavente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moneer Zayed was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A collision led to RUBIN UNITED FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Uthman Khalif hit a great ball. Moneer Zayed didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Benavente went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Benavente in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moneer Zayed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Talib Shams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, RED STAR FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Talib Shams came free, but Tomasz Galus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uthman Khalif hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Rafiq Qudamah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Salah el Din Idris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ademar Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Moneer Zayed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8-0 became the score in the 90th minute when Xu Xi Peng elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
