Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusebio Galindo started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Cristian Naike made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Sindo. Chaján's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Chaján was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Ninobla to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, Vélez Juniors's Santos Fonda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomiro Sindo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vélez Juniors reached it. Baldomiro Sindo made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Cristian Naike sent off a good shot on target. In the 14thth minute of the game Cristian Naike who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaján's Baldomiro Sindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustas Matukas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomiro Sindo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Naike in the 44th minute of play forced Chaján's goalkeeper Baldomiro Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Naike to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Naike left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vélez Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cristian Naike's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Sindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Cristian Naike came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vélez Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Naike couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Naike in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Sindo saved Chaján from getting behind. Elpidio Vitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustas Matukas in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Sindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Vélez Juniors's Donato Efraim was substituted for Alberto Joey. The supporters of Chaján booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Fonda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Naike in the 79th minute of play. Baldomiro Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Naike, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Naike in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Sindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87thth minute of the game Cristian Naike who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaján's Baldomiro Sindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Lucero threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vélez Juniors's Benigno Gurutz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Naike left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vélez Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Chaján's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chaján may have spent more time on the ball, but Vélez Juniors were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
