Timofey Golant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Douglas Bäckström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hübbersfield SV's Peter Törnblom got a free kick in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, Izhevsk FC's Samuil Fomichev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rasmus Lund narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruslan Skryabin couldn't finish the play. Billy Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Timofey Golant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Izhevsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Sundberg came free, but Timofey Golant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Izhevsk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timofey Golant should have stopped the shot. Billy Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Timofey Golant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hübbersfield SV. There was no doubt that Hübbersfield SV were the better team. Hübbersfield SV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
