Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michael Owen kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Martirio AD's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Görlitz came free, but Taurino Santana-Bauzá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Owen in the 8th minute of play forced Bentgerhof FSV's goalkeeper Rollo Trieb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, Martirio AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnim Blank in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taurino Santana-Bauzá saved Martirio AD from getting behind. In the 16th minute Alfons Behnert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taurino Santana-Bauzá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taurino Santana-Bauzá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons Behnert's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Bentgerhof FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Romero came free, but Rollo Trieb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Alfonso Görlitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taurino Santana-Bauzá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taurino Santana-Bauzá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Görlitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Arnim Blank who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martirio AD's Taurino Santana-Bauzá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Owen got free with Rollo Trieb in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taurino Santana-Bauzá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnim Blank, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Arnim Blank ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Taurino Santana-Bauzá was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alfonso Görlitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Taurino Santana-Bauzá having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Görlitz was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Leonardo Bertassi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rollo Trieb. Bentgerhof FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Bertassi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Michael Owen sped through Bentgerhof FSV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rollo Trieb. In the 56th minute, Stefan Burger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Bentgerhof FSV defense, Bruninho da Mata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rollo Trieb. The Bentgerhof FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rollo Trieb should have stopped the shot. In the 61stth minute of the game Michael Owen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bentgerhof FSV's Rollo Trieb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Bentgerhof FSV's Alfonso Görlitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taurino Santana-Bauzá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Alfonso Görlitz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 66 minutes into the match, Martirio AD's goalkeeper Taurino Santana-Bauzá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfons Behnert. Taurino Santana-Bauzá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Görlitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Taurino Santana-Bauzá came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Bentgerhof FSV's Alfons Behnert. But to his dismay, Alfons Behnert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 92nd minute, Bentgerhof FSV's Alfonso Görlitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Taurino Santana-Bauzá. Taurino Santana-Bauzá yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. In the 96th minute, Arnim Blank reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Taurino Santana-Bauzá. The goal made the score 3-4. Chants of Bentgerhof FSV echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Martirio AD had held the ball for most of the match.
