An unexpectedly hard shot by 刘霖珂 in the 28th minute of play forced 布里斯托流浪足球俱乐部's goalkeeper 袁乐弘 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, AS Monaco's 龙超康 made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 袁乐弘 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 袁乐弘 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 刘霖珂, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 刘霖珂 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. 袁乐弘 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AS Monaco's 蒋勇骋 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 楚笑适 in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 刘霖珂 made a kick off. When 吴松杰 came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the AS Monaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 吴松杰 couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, 石彬光 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 袁乐弘 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
