Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Ljungberg in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayhan Ergün prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bengt Enström scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ayhan Ergün, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GALATASARAY's Ayhan Ergün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Ljungberg in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Maximilian Ljungberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayhan Ergün came out of the goal and Maximilian Ljungberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes of play, Huskvarna's Maximilian Ljungberg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ayhan Ergün was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Huskvarna's Gilbert Gallin got a free kick in the 30th minute. Muhittin Mesut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Peter Beckström made a huge save. After having played for 36 minutes, Bengt Enström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huskvarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt Enström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 minutes, Maximilian Ljungberg made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. GALATASARAY's Ayhan Ergün tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Maximilian Ljungberg came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Huskvarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximilian Ljungberg couldn't finish the play. Ayhan Ergün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Ljungberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximilian Ljungberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximilian Ljungberg took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ayhan Ergün. Ayhan Ergün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. After 91 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Ümit Tezveren. GALATASARAY's Seyrani Özsahin got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Seyrani Özsahin off the ground. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Seyrani Özsahin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Huskvarna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GALATASARAY throughout the match.
